Alabaster Box

Today I was reading in Mark 14 about the woman with the alabaster box of very precious ointment, who used it to anoint the head of Jesus.  Verse 8 says "She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying."  I struck me that I wish I could be that woman.  To do something that would honor my Lord especially for His sacrifice on the cross.  To be a sweet smelling fragrance to Him.  I honestly don't know what this will look like in my life, but I pray that my Lord will show me how I can honor Him, and Him alone!
