Conversations with Brett

We had a new friend over for supper who is from Africa.  About halfway into the meal Brett looks at me and says matter of factly, "He is a little bit white."  I smothered a giggle.  After a bit of awkward silence Joel asked Brett, "Are you a little bit black?"  Brett looks at his hands covered in brownie and states, "Maybe a little bit brown."  I think this cultural diversity will be good for our family.
