Conference Continued -Part 3

My prayer for these short snippets is that they wet your appetite and don't ruin your supper.

The next topic was sharing the gospel.  He emphasizes that this is not about guilt.  It is about sharing from the heart.  Love must motivate.  I need to pray for more love.  He poses the questions.  Is fear holding me back?  What is my responsibility as a follower of Christ?  It is a powerful, inspiring message.  I would highly recommend listening to it.

The stewardship of God's gifts was the next subject.  I am going to hit a few highlights.  We are given an equal amount time for today.  What am I doing with it?  I am the manager of my talents and spiritual gifts.  I will be accountable.  Do I offer God the leftovers?  You can't control the length of you life, but you can control the depth.  I am amazed how I can be convicted, challenged and encouraged all at the same time.

Family and children are the next matter.  My attitude is so crucial to how my family is doing, both at home and with my church family.  My attitude should reflect, what happens to you matters to me.  Also, family is not just about staying together, but making a life together.  He also said that singleness is not a holding pattern until you get married, but a unique opportunity to serve God.  This is so true even in my life.  When I am waiting on God to lead, I need to be doing and using the opportunities around me.
